  The Interstate Renewable Energy Council (IREC) is a non-profit organization that provides information and educational support for renewable energy. IREC publishes Connecting to the Grid Newsletter as a monthly electronic publication in conjunction with the North Carolina Solar Center at North Carolina State University.
